Hi-Capacity Pick Up DEFENDER 110s
The images below document one such build up of a Hi-Capacity 110.


In this image you can see our base model 110 Hi-Capacity pick up. The 3.9 liter V8 5 speed running gear has already been assembled and the freshly painted Arles Blue panels are being fitted to the new galvanized chassis. The frame was painted black on this 110 to give a factory look to the project.

Here you can see the longer and wider rear body of the Hi-Capacity pick up. The frame and wheelbase of this Defender are the same as any 110, but the special rear body allows for more cargo room and a longer wider storage area. The Hi-Cap pick up body is unique as well, much like American pick ups, the body and the rear cargo body do not actually touch, as you can see in the picture. The Hi-Cap 110 is still flexible as it can still have its roof removed for open top driving.

In this photo you can see that the Hi-Cap is really coming together. The main body structure is done and the systems are up and running. The Hi-Cap, like all the ECR 110s can have any number of options added, but in this case the almost stock 3.9 EFI V8 with the 5 speed R380 gearbox, fender guards, Rockford-Fosgate speakers, and alloys wheels are about the only options ordered. We can delivery any 110 you desire, from mild to wild, base model to highly optioned beast.

One other option this Hi-Cap 110 will be getting is a spray on bed liner to keep the cargo in place, and to keep the body in great shape. Here the bed is being prepared for the spray on liner, it will then be moved into our 1,000,000 BTU spray booth for a fast professional heat cured bed liner.

Now complete this ECR Defender 110 Hi-Capacity Pick Up is ready for anything, from hauling your boat (seen in this image easily hauling a twin engined 25 foot Boston Whaler) to the lake to hauling your spouse to the store. The Hi-Cap is a very versatile truck and with up to 340 available horsepower it has the ability to tow anything you desire, or with turbo diesel power it could be the ultimate workhorse around your farm or ranch. Think about the ECR 110s next time you want a Land Rover, but then have to look at a domestic truck because Land Rover doesn't make one. Land Rover may not import it or make it available with V8 power, but ECR does.
